Our Playground

Mother nature treats us well in Kittelfjäll. During our season the weather predominantly comes from the west and east which brings new, dry snow on a regular basis. Sometimes it can be pretty windy, during those conditions we find compact snow on the upper layers and powder on the lower elevationstreeskiing galore. February and early March is Champaign pow time!

Even at the end of the season in April we usually still find dry powder snow on the north-facing slopes and the south-facing slopes often have firn by midday, all thanks to our northern location and altitude.

60+ Peaks

2,199 sq. km

120 + runs

Every day our guides use snow-, weather- and avalanche forecasts, check in with the local  Sami about the raindeer heerds and choose the perfect run schedule for the day.

Kittelfjall

A true mountain village nestled in the mountainous landscape of Lapland. With less than 140 inhabitants, Kittelfjall has retained the relaxed atmosphere so typical for Sweden.

People are living in harmony with nature and are enjoying the numerous opportunities for exciting outdoor activities the mountains have to offer. To top-it off, during clear winter nights the magical auroras put on a breathtaking show.

Kittelfjall has its own ski area, there are only a few anker-lifts but the slopes are top notch and there are almost endless possibilities for off-piste skiing and there even is a fun park.

The village has a small supermarket, three excellent restaurants and a hotel, where almost every Friday and Saturday a pretty wild Apres-Ski Party with live bands is happening.
