For the perfect start into the day we beginn with a hearty breakfast buffet to recharge your batteries. On the first day there will be safety briefings covering the everything from avalanche safety, how to use the transceivers to safety around helicopters.<\/p>\n
Time to HeliSki. After a short warm-up program and a quick check of our safety gear we are off – We average 6 to 8 runs a day depending on the ability of the group, the conditions and how much you as a group wish to ski or ride.<\/p>\n
For lunch we meet with the other groups for an extensive picnic lunch, weather permitting on the mountain, with delicious sandwiches, a hot soup, tea \/ coffee, fruit and some sweets.<\/p>\n
After lunch, the pilots kick the tires and light the fires, time for more HeliSki. In the afternoon we get back to Kittelfj\u00e4ll for some apr\u00e8s ski snacks and refreshments and then relax in the sauna or just hang at the lounge.<\/p>\n
For dinner we get together at the restaurant of the Hotel Kittelfjall – here is already a table reserved for us. There is either a special menu waiting for us or we order a’ la carte. To finish the day off we meet for a nightcab and exchange stories or if you prefer a more relaxed time you can make yourself comfortable in the lounge by the fire.<\/p>\n

Even though we are fortunate with the weather here in Kittelfj\u00e4ll donw days do happen. Often the weather has calmed in the afternoon, so we start our HeliSki day a little later. If it is not possible for us to fly, we still have many activities on offer to pass the time.<\/p>\n
Guided snowshoe tours with our guides, ice fishing at lake Borkansj\u00f6n, Snowmobile- \/ Dog Sled- Tours and of course our ski area in Kittelfj\u00e4ll offer additional distraction to bridge even the most inhospitable day.<\/p>\n

How well do I need to ski \/ snowboard to go heliskiing? We are often asked this question and the honest answer is that heliskiing is a demanding physical activity and we recommend that you realistically assess your own fitness level and prepare accordingly.<\/p>\n
You don’t have to be a pro skier and have to spent all day on black runs or off-piste to fully enjoy heliskiing, but you should be able to handle yourself on red runs and consider yourself an advanced or highly advanced skier.<\/p>\n
Basically, if you have a decent parallel turn and have been off-piste in deep snow, you will be OK, there is really no reason why you shouldn’t try Heliskiing.<\/p>\n
We recommend to all our guests to use “All Mountain Skis”, which also can be rented from us. All Mountain Skis are much wider than “normal” skis and make skiing in deep snow much easier.<\/p>\n
We try to match skiers and boarders into groups according to their ability, but the pairing is based on the self-assessment of the guest,\u202funtil we have been heliskiing with everyone. As it is impossible for us to judge your actual ability and if you are unable to complete the day due to your fitness level or ability, you may be flown out of the area for the day.<\/p>\n
– Refund per Summit not flown: 65,- Euro per person.<\/p>\n
We offer a refund if the Summits are not reached due to bad weather or technical failures. In case of no-show, illness, lack of physical fitness or other reasons caused by the guest, the lost Summits will not be refunded.<\/p>\n
